Welcome to Role Call
A tabletop game night hosted by the Vanguards of Fellowship West, a committee of our Post dedicated to camaraderie, strategy, and storytelling.

Whether you’re a battle-hardened commander or a first-time adventurer, there’s a seat for you at the table. We currently feature multiple dedicated experiences and a growing collection of board and card games:

Dungeons & Dragons: Adventurers League – Official, structured, and beginner-friendly. Join an organized D&D campaign where your character can grow across sessions, tables, and events, all while exploring epic quests and dangerous dungeons.
Warhammer 40,000 – Deploy your armies and battle for dominance in the grim darkness of the far future.
Warhammer: Age of Sigmar – Enter a world of gods, monsters, and endless war in this fast-paced fantasy wargame.
Warhammer: The Old World – Revisit the beloved classic with rich lore, ranked regiments, and tactical depth.

We also feature trading card games like:

Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!

And a wide selection of board games generously donated by Captain Nemo Games in San Luis Obispo — perfect for casual play, family fun, or quick breaks between battles.

We’re building a community where veterans, family members, and local tabletop enthusiasts can connect through shared stories and strategy. As we grow, expect even more games, events, and opportunities to roll dice together.

Adventurers League

D&D Adventurers League – Join the Party!
Step into a world of magic, monsters, and unforgettable quests. The Adventurers League is the official organized play system for Dungeons & Dragons, open to new and experienced players alike. Whether you're brand new to D&D or a seasoned hero, our league welcomes you to roll dice, build characters, and explore epic stories — one session at a time.

Each game is run by a Dungeon Master and follows official D&D rules and adventures, allowing your character to grow across sessions and even at different tables. Bring your own character or create one with us — no experience needed!

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war — and at Role Call, you’re invited to the front lines.

Whether you’re a veteran commander or curious recruit, our Warhammer 40K table is open to all skill levels. Bring your army or learn the ropes with our community of hobbyists and strategists. Magic the Gathering

The original trading card game. Choose your colors, build your deck, and face off against other planeswalkers in duels of strategy, spells, and creatures. From casual formats to intense competition, MTG offers endless variety.

Pokémon TCG

Catch, train, and battle with your favorite Pokémon! This family-friendly card game is easy to learn and full of colorful, fast-paced action. Great for kids, new players, and lifelong fans of the franchise.
